Shiloh Makes A Difference During Serve 2011

While the rain may have dampened the bleachers on September 10, it didn't dampen the spirits of those that turned out for Serve 2011. Unable to stain the bleachers at the Holts Summit baseball field, congregation members turned their attention towards making cards for soldiers and shut-ins. In all, over 400 cards were created. The bulk of the cards were provided to two Missouri National Guard units for sending home to family and friends while their members were overseas.

Rain once again canceled the make up day for staining the bleachers on September 14. Several members were finally able to complete the task on September 16, as the showers went around the Holts Summit area.

Those in attendance agreed that they enjoyed helping the community and the chance to fellowship with congregation members. Everyone looks forward to participating in the event again next year.
